چکیده
Tunable microwave and millimeter wave oscillators bandpass filters with ultra-low phase noise play a critical role in electronic devices, including wireless communication, microelectronics, quantum computing. Magnetic materials, such as yttrium iron garnet (YIG), possess ferromagnetic resonance tunable up to tens of gigahertz. Here, we report structural magnetic properties single-crystal 60 130 nm-thick YIG films prepared by metal-organic decomposition epitaxy. These films, consisting multiple homoepitaxially grown monolayers, are atomically flat similar those liquid-phase epitaxy, pulsed laser deposition, sputtering. Our approach does not involve expensive high-vacuum deposition systems is true low-cost alternative current commercial techniques that have the potential transform industry.

Self-assembled single-crystal ferromagnetic iron nanowires formed by decomposition.
Arrays of perpendicular ferromagnetic nanowires have recently attracted considerable interest for their potential use in many areas of advanced nanotechnology. We report a simple approach to create self-assembled nanowires of alpha-Fe through the decomposition of a suitably chosen perovskite. We illustrate the principle behind this approach using the reaction 2La(0.5)Sr(0.5)FeO(3) --> LaSrFeO(4...

Colloidal nanodispersion of Iron Yttrium Garnet has been preparedbymixing the two ternary mixture of Triton X-100 (surfactant), n-heptane and aqueous solution that differing only in the aqueous phase.Ethanolwas added as cosurfactant and mixed them by ultrasound bath. By mixing these twomicroemulsions, Iron Yttrium garnet (Y3 Fe5 O12) nanodispersionwas obtained. Solids were settled by centrifuge...
متن کاملCavity quantum electrodynamics with ferromagnetic magnons in a small yttrium-iron-garnet sphere
Hybridizing collective spin excitations and a cavity with high cooperativity provides a new research subject in the field of cavity quantum electrodynamics and can also have potential applications to quantum information. Here we report an experimental study of cavity quantum electrodynamics with ferromagnetic magnons in a small yttrium-iron-garnet (YIG) sphere at both cryogenic and room tempera...
متن کاملElectron-phonon coupling in iron-doped yttrium aluminum garnet
The electron-phonon coupling in iron-doped yttrium aluminum garnet crystals is studied in the theoretical framework of linear and quadratic coupling. The line shift and line broadening of the zero phonon line of iron centers as a function of temperature between 10 and 150 K is qualitatively and quantitatively explained. The spectroscopic features of the line, deduced from the theory of lattice ...
